In loving memory of
Paul
Hablet and
Tony
Ogburn
We want to thank so many people for the Benefit at
Shuck A Peel on Sunday July 29th, 2007. There was an outpouring of
support and so many volunteers. Many thanks to those who donated for
the live auction. We also want the thank the auctioneers for donating
their time and all the effort by everyone to make the benefit auction a HUGE
SUCCESS.
We had a few folks lined up for entertainment. For
those of you that were there, hope you enjoyed the show that Johnny Lovett
put on. He really rocked the house with his awesome voice and, of
course, those moves. We had Sam Lee from Lake City Music, poor Sam
never got to perform, and Bobby and Rusty from Kowboy Karaoke, who performed
only a little, and of course Unlimited Karaoke of which Billy Jack got to do
a few songs.
There was so much donated that our original time
til 10 pm went well past 1 am.
We loved our in the audience celebrity singers,
they were real troopers when their name was called by surprise! You
can thank who ever paid to hear you sing for that one! That was so much
fun!!!!!
We were happy to see the turnout of folks in the
crowd that were not afraid to dig in their wallet and help the families of
the fallen officers.
We were elated to make a toast to the lives of the
fallen officers, not only in sadness, but in happy memories of the MEN they
really WERE.
A HUGE THANKS to BETTE and RON of SHUCK A PEEL.
They donated all the food and beverage sales of the night to the families.
They got the much needed round of applause at the end of the night.
Just remember.....
"Every morning when you wake up with your spouse, be sure to hold them tight
and kiss them a little longer.......We never know when our time is up"
"GOD BLESS YOU PAUL AND TONY
YOU ARE MISSED"
