Well, I will start by saying that the finals went well! 
We are so proud of our winners ~ .Ms. Karen and Baby took first place. 
She won herself and the hubby a trip to Vegas, and a little cash to spend while there. 
Our second place winner went to Ms. Haley, she got a little spending money. 
All I can say is "Keep Singing".

With that said, and with deep regret, Shuck A Peel closed its doors for the last time, last night. 
Bette and Ron are past due for RETIREMENT.  We were very sad when we heard the news, but know that it is best for Ron and Bette, our adoptive parents. The word spread fast about the closing and we did pack the house one last time ~ for a night full of emotions.  Billy Jack and I have been very blessed to have played in Shuck A Peel for 3 years.  We have made so many friends, that we have actually added to the list of our extended family. 
For now we are going to take a little time off,  do our private parties and weddings and whatever else comes our way.  This has been such an adventure for us and we would have never dreamed that we would have been so involved with this business.  This was going to start out as a little fun which grew to a full time second job for us ~ if you call this a job!

We want to thank Bette and Ron for allowing us to be there every week for 3 years.  And to the girls of Shuck A Peel, WoW we love you! And thank you for all your hard work and service through out the years.  I don't look at this as good-bye, I look at this as "See You All Later" !!   Last but not least,  a special "Thanks"  to Dee for spending our last night together.  It would not have been the same last night without the original Unlimited Karaoke.
